DSC 0858 insetWRRA residents attended the Annual General Meeting on Thursday, October 19 to pay their dues and hear some neighbourhood news.

Speakers included Mayor Rob Burton, Councillors Cathy Duddeck and Ray Chisholm, and Kerr BIA Executive Director Doug Sams. A wide range of questions from members was answered, including speeding in the neighbourhood (especially on Queen Mary); the stalled development on Shepherd Rd.; the long-planned CN underpass, vacant homes in Oakville, the status of the Glen Abbey Golf Course, progress on the Forster Park washrooms and the Trafalgar Park (Oakville Arena) renovations, and many more.

At the end of the meeting, two lucky winners went home with the raffled-off WRRA Canada 150 Muskoka Chair.
