Town of Oakville - Aquatic Leadership Assistance Program

This program provides free access to youth (15-18) living in low income households to become a Lifeguard or an Aquatics Instructor!


Courses youth can attend at no cost includes:

· Bronze Medallion

· Bronze Cross

· Standard First Aid

· National Lifeguard

· LSS and Swim Instructor Course

All you have to do is attend a Virtual Information Session on Wednesday Jan 12 from 2-3 p.m. to learn more and find out how you can refer youth to this awesome training and potential employment opportunity! You can also contact Nicola

Additionally, The Town of Oakville is offering a reduced rate for Aquatic All-In-One Lifeguard course for individuals with daytime availability to obtain certification to become a lifeguard.

The town is also hiring for lifeguards, and swim instructors so if you know of youth that have some or all of these courses, they would be able to apply to our job postings!
